Translucent and breathable
The defining characteristic of the “Cheese Tent” is that its canopy is perforated with numerous holes; this design effectively allows light to filter through, maintaining a soft, diffused illumination inside the tent—it provides partial shade from the sun without making the interior feel overly dim or stiflingly hot.
Effective Protection, Breathable and Non-Stuffy
The Cheese Tent is designed to be used without side walls; however, mesh panels can be installed to ensure excellent internal visibility and ventilation. This keeps the interior airy and prevents stuffiness, while also effectively shielding against wind, sand, and insects—allowing you to fully enjoy the comforts of the outdoors.
Customizable Transmittance Options
Our “Cheese Tent” allows you to select a shading rate ranging from 50% to 90%, based on your preference for small, medium, or large perforations—enabling you to achieve your desired aesthetic rather than simply choosing a specific hole size. We offer complimentary customization services for your event, ensuring the tent is fully adapted for all-weather use.
Our Cheese Tent is capable of blocking approximately 50% to 90% of ultraviolet rays; the greater the shading coverage, the stronger the UV protection. A custom coating is available to provide even stronger UV protection, subject to an additional fee.
The accessory package included with our Cheese Tent contains poles, stakes, caps, and ropes.
Our Cheese Tents utilize mesh tarpaulins; compared to solid tarpaulins, these have a shorter lifespan—typically 3 to 5 years—and are more prone to aging. However, they offer the advantages of being significantly lighter and more affordable.
The Cheese Tent is not designed to provide rain protection; rainwater will leak through its perforations. This tent is suitable for use only in sunny weather.
The Cheese Tent can be set up using either wooden or aluminum poles; however, aluminum poles offer a longer service life. Thanks to its irregular shape, the Cheese Tent is designed to accommodate guy lines, making the setup process highly convenient.
